My role as a designer is to translate the desires of the client into a practical design creating an outside living space. To produce an area in which you and your family can relax, entertain or play.

I can bring your dreams to life and guide you through the many decisions that need to be made on the route to your perfect garden. A well designed garden can also be a huge asset to a property and can add considerably to its value.

Think of your garden as an extension of the living space in your house - another room. It should also reflect your individual style, personality and complement your house - something to be proud of!

The design process

Home consultation & site survey

A home consultation will be arranged to discuss your preferences, requirements and ideas. A site survey is also conducted which includes measuring the garden, testing the soil and noting the aspect of your property. Photographs are taken.

Design concepts

A plan to scale is produced together with rough concepts which are presented for your comments along with an estimate detailing the cost of works.

Design development & final drawings

Following your comments the design will be developed into a creative hand drawn and fully comprehensive final drawing for your approval. This includes details such as landscaping i.e. water features, patios and pergolas. A planting plan is also available.

Planting plans & smaller packages

I also offer smaller packages including; planting plans, border planting plans, design only of smaller areas linking in with the existing garden i.e. water features, seating areas, pathways, patios and pergolas.
